Credo Music presents a full day of master classes and clinics for intermediate and advanced string players aged 10 through 18 on Friday, July 28, 2017.

For the past 18 Summers, Credo has attracted the finest faculty and students from around the world to participate in the Credo Chamber Music Festival, a unique course of study that combines a challenging curriculum with personal mentorship and community service opportunities. Credo has expanded its reach by presenting “Credo Days” from coast to coast, including Credo Day Chicago— Come join the fun!

Who: Intermediate and advanced string players age 10 through 18
What: A chance to connect with other inspirational classical musicians with a heart to serve the world
Where: Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 W Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126)
When: July 28, 2017
Cost: $25 per participant (includes lunch and up to 4 tickets to the Credo Festival Orchestra concert that evening)

9-9:30 AM Registration  
9:30-10 AM Morning Sing
10-11 AM Read-through of side-by-side with Credo Festival Orchestra
11 AM-12 PM Technique sessions
12-1 PM Lunch
1-2 PM Rehearsal of side-by-side
2-3:30 PM Master class with Peter Slowik, Credo Artistic Director and Oberlin Conservatory Professor
3:30-4 PM Inspiration from the past – highlights of some of the greatest string playing in history
4 PM Snack/get ready for performance
4:30 PM Performance of side-by-side with Credo Festival Orchestra, presentation of Credo philosophy
  Released for dinner with your family
7:30 PM Concert by the Credo Festival Orchestra
