Student Festival Forms

Tuition
Tuition balance is due June 15th and payable online.


ARRIVAL — Sunday, June 28

  • Student Check-In: 2–4 PM

  • Orientation: 5 PM
    We will have a parent orientation dinner. Students will begin their camp orientation at this time as well.

  • If you are flying, aim for an arrival at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, 10 AM - 2 PM preferred. We will have staff members on hand to meet students and direct them to a shuttle service (parents will pay for the shuttle service).

DEPARTURE — Saturday, July 11

  • Student Check-Out: 10 AM - Noon
    Students will check out of dorms. Parents are encouraged to meet their students at this time.

  • Finale Concert: 2-4 PM

  • If you are flying, we prefer students to leave on Saturday night if possible. The program concludes with the Finale Concert from 2-4 PM, so flights should be 6 PM or later. Flights on the morning of the 12th are also acceptable. (Students would have to pay an extra night in the dorm, and there will be staff available to chaperone.)

Transportation From/To the Airport

  • Credo will coordinate student arrival times with a shuttle service (approx. $30-40) that will bring students from Cleveland Hopkins airport to our facilities at Oberlin. Parents/students will be able to reserve and pay for this service when forms are available (mid-May).

What to Bring


Student Concert Information

  • At Credo’s conclusion:

    • All parents are encouraged to arrive on Friday evening July 10—most of the chamber music groups will play on a concert that evening.

    • ALL students will perform in a string orchestra concert Saturday afternoon—and a select few chamber music groups will play as well.

  • Concert dress:

    • Gentlemen: black pants, long-sleeved white shirt, black sock/shoes, long tie optional

    • Ladies: long black skirt or slacks, white top, black shoes

  • Friday July 3
    Verona Quartet Faculty Concert at 7:30 PM in Kulas Recital Hall, Oberlin Conservatory

  • Saturday, July 4
    Two afternoon student concerts 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM in Kulas Recital Hall, Oberlin Conservatory

  • Friday, July 10
    Student concert at 7:30 PM in Kulas Recital Hall, Oberlin Conservatory

  • Saturday, July 11
    Finale Concert at 1 PM in Warner Concert Hall, Oberlin Conservatory


FAQ

  • The Medical Information sheet in the Student Forms Packet includes space to mention important details such as medical conditions and allergies. If you would like to share further details or have questions, please contact our staff at national@credomusic.org.

  • While there are no restrictions on cell phone use to take pictures or communicate during breaks in the schedule, we strongly encourage students to take full advantage of the special blessings available to them in person at Credo.

  • Parents can volunteer to help with ANY part of Credo. Please contact national@credomusic.org to volunteer. We'll need the most help with:

    1) July 2 - Service Day (full day and part day opportunities available)

    2) July 9 - Service Day (full day and part day opportunities available)

  • We want everyone to socialize with your fellow students at Credo. Lunch will be provided each day for commuter students. Dinner will be provided on the days where there is a required festival activity.
