It seems hard to believe, but December is just around the corner! Every year Credo welcomes the new season with performances of Handel’s Messiah (Sing Along style!) in Chicago and Oberlin- we’d love to have you join us!

You might not think that a summer program would be doing much in November, but it's one of our busiest months. We're so excited that we've laid the framework for next month's Messiah performances, summer chamber music program, orchestral week in Chicago, and mission trips!

Our fiscal year-end fundraising campaign last month was met with an incredible outpouring of support from the Credo family. Thanks to all of you, we eclipsed our goal of raising $55,000 by the end of September! We are so grateful for you all.

I’d like to extend my personal thanks to everyone who made September 2018 a very gratifying month at Credo. The Credo family is filled with amazing people — it is a joy and honor to be in relationship with each of you!

In celebration of the past, and looking to the future, the Credo board has personally committed a Twenty Year, $20,000 Challenge fund — doubling the impact of every dollar you give now, up to $20,000. Can we count on you?

We have launched into a celebration of 20 amazing years of Credo — there are so many stories to tell! In July and August we experienced the joy and wonder of the 20th Credo program and some pretty awesome alumni accomplishments!

This week a select group of Credo students participate in Credo Festival Orchestra week in Chicago! The students are staying in the heart of Chicago, two blocks west of Magnificent Mile, and rehearsing in the beautiful Fine Arts Building.

It has been a whirlwind of a summer here at Credo! We hope you have been following along on our facebook page to see the latest updates. Over the weekend we had the Credo Oberlin Finale concerts and they were fantastic! On Saturday we were sad to say goodbye to our 3-week session students who headed home after the finale concert. While our three weeks in Oberlin went by presto, the impact of these experiences and friendships will be felt for many weeks, months and years to come.

Friends of Credo is a new program for 2018 which builds meaningful connections with our community. There is no cost to join. As a friend you have free access to all Credo concerts in Oberlin this July and special invitations to connect with Credo students throughout the festival. 

Make Music Day, the annual global celebration of music on the summer solstice, returns to Northeast Ohio for the third time on Thursday, June 21, and everyone is invited to participate!  Cleveland joins over 70 U.S. cities in 31 states, in addition to the entire states of Vermont and Connecticut and 800 cities in 120 foreign countries – in what has become a worldwide phenomenon observed by hundreds of millions of people. Credo is taking the lead in organizing Make Music Cleveland, and we'd love for you to take part!
